📍 Where? Nestled in Keita's Home studio at 1864 Sea to Sky Highway. Just follow the left driveway fork, and you'll find us upstairs through the house's main entrance.

Whether you're just starting or you’re a seasoned professional, our club welcomes ages 13 and up. Our focus is commitment to the craft of art making and the joy of community and shared expertise.
🖌️ The Art Club Roadmap:
Inspiration: Begin with discovery and discussion as we delve into diverse materials, styles, and techniques.
Creation: As the weeks fly by, you'll channel your inspiration and increasingly take the lead on your projects. As you work towards crafting your final pieces, Keita will be right there, offering guidance and resources.
Showcase: Culminate with a sparkling open-studio soirée! Present your work, mingle, and bask in collective creativity. (Worried about the spotlight? Remain anonymous if you wish!)
📌 Prep Up:
Dress for creativity (a.k.a. paint splashes!).
Keep hydrated; bring along a water bottle.
If you pack snacks, ensure they're nut-free.
Studio supply expectations:
Studio supplies include basic/beginner-quality access to acrylic paint, watercolour paint, brushes, palettes, paper and pencils. This is for the purpose of play and exploration of new materials during phase 1. However, when we work on final paintings in phase 2, you would be expected to purchase whichever art supplies you need to complete your piece(s) ready for showcasing.
We encourage you to bring your own mixed media book or pad to maintain your practice at home and to bring to the art club. (I'd recommend Strathmore or Canson unless you own a similar mixed-media sketchbook).
