Learn to sing while having fun with friends in this 13-week group meet-up for Pemberton's young songbirds
(we will be meeting every Tuesday for three months EXCEPT for Halloween on Oct 31st)
Suitable for ages 5-12.
Pricing: Total for all 13 weeks of tuition is $250.
Singers will have fun learning how to use their voice as an instrument. I aim to get your songbird to gain confidence in self-expression through singing and performance in a collaborative group setting.
Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts so we can start promptly. Remember to bring a water bottle and any sheet music or hand-outs that may be relevant to your child’s upcoming session.
Group size: Min 5 - Max 15 singers (if the participant minimum is not met, the group will be cancelled via email 24 hours before the first meeting and your purchase will be refunded in full).

What you get:
We will learn about vocal health, the voice as a whole body instrument, practice pitch accuracy, breathing and supportive singing techniques, performance practice, build confidence in sharing our voices among supportive peers, an intro to songwriting, learn the basics of singing in harmony as a group and strengthening our solo singing by working on a student-led song. *Please note: Performance is a skill that can take time to build separately from the voice as an instrument. If the group votes to perform a showcase, please do not be disappointed if your child does not feel comfortable singing a solo or participating in a performance yet. My philosophy and approach are based on encouragement, not force. True inner confidence when performing in front of an audience can sometimes take a while, and I like to allow space for that with my students as individuals.

If the organizer must cancel the event due to circumstances outside of their control all participants will be notified via e-mail and will be refunded in full.
